Life and History in Christ

History is important. If you don't know where you came from, you will have no idea where you are going and you will instead be led along by those with an agenda that you can't quite discern because you have no idea where they are coming from either.

One of my faults is that I feel that I always need more information to act. I have always been a ravenous learner when it comes to history and theology and philosophy. I just want to know where ideas are forming and where they are going.

It took me too long in life to realize that without acting or speaking out about what I have learned, then it is all for nothing. If I don't touch someone's life, then I am just a black hole that is sucking in all of this information to where it will not be seen again.

Now I am starting this blog with the hope that someone out there will read it and will communicate with me about these important things.

The most important things is my life: loving God, loving my wife, loving others, my nation and my wife's nation, and learning, teaching, writing, and playing music. I will be discussing all of these things with you.
